This is an excerpt that I wrote for my American literature class. I used the method that was discussed in class when each noun is selected and replaced with the fifth noun down from the first in a very old American Dictionary. After the change, I discovered that my personal vocab was expanded because of this process. The excerpt became confusing because most words were replaced with scientific words.

The first text is a good application of n+7 method. It's funny, of course, but still feels like a form of cultural studies or anthropology, as if from some culture and world not familiar to us. It makes a certain sense, despite the oddness. Perhaps it's almost a parody of the desire to know other cultures.
